Tens of thousands of people are demonstrating in the streets in the Eastern part of Libya, where the opposition has control. Protesters are closing in on Tripoli, but not without a fight. Militias supporting Moammar Gaddafi opened fire on protesters outside mosques, killing at least 4 people. Gadhafi has blamed al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden for the uprising in his country. Al Qaeda leaders have been notably silent since revolutions began in Tunisia and Egypt. What will the unrest mean for Al Qaeda? We turn to Brian Fishman, an Al Qaeda and counter-terrorism expert at the New America Foundation.
