As a research associate at the Open Technology Initiative, Leticia Miranda supports the organization's research efforts in reforming broadband and broader telecommunications policy to better meet the needs of low-income communities and communities of color.

Marie Lawrence is a research associate for the Bernard L. Schwartz Fellows Program. She conducts research on a wide range of topics, including immigration, education, and political history, for four fellows.

Anjana Ravi is a research associate for the Global Assets Project at the New America Foundation. She supports the development of the Savings for the Poor Innovation and Knowledge Network (SPINNAKER), an online tool designed to spur collaboration, dialogue and innovation around savings products for the poor.

Joe Colucci is a research associate in the Health Policy Program. He assists Acting Director Shannon Brownlee with background research and economic analysis of news, academic research, and legislation, and provides administrative support for the Health Policy Program’s ongoing projects and events.

Joe is also the primary blogger for the Health Policy Program’s blog, New Health Dialogue. The blog covers health care delivery system issues, with a focus on evidence-based practice, behavioral economics, and the effects of modern medical regulatory and payment systems.

Jennifer Rowland is a program associate with the National Security Studies Program at the New America Foundation. She previously worked as an intern with the Counterterrorism Strategy Initiative here at New America, and with a microfinance program at a non-profit, Pact Inc. She graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a BA in Political Science. She speaks Arabic as a second language and has conducted field research in Amman, Jordan. Her thesis, “Terrorist Decision-Making: The Impulse to Affiliate” won the department’s Ole R.

Clare McCann is a program associate with the Education Policy Program at the New America Foundation.  She conducts research on a wide range of education issues, including early learning and K-12 education, in support of the Federal Education Budget Project and other components of the program.

Jordan D’Amato is a Research Associate for the American Strategy Program at the New America Foundation. Mr. D’Amato previously worked as a research intern for Dr. Anthony Cordesman at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He has drafted and published reports on a wide range of topics including US-Iranian strategic competition, the Iraq and Afghan wars, and the US Defense Budget. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.A. in History. Mr. D’Amato has studied history, political science, and economics in Italy, China, and England.

Nicole Tosh is a Research Associate in the Global Assets Project where she assists with the Global Savings and Social Protection Initiative (GSSP) in their efforts. In addition, Ms. Tosh is a Staff Assistant at the New America Foundation. She supports the Finance and Operations team in their day-to-day responsibilities and assists various programs with administrative and research efforts.

Before joining CRFB, Kingsley worked on the staff of the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform. Originally from South Carolina, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and graduated in May 2010 with B.A. in American History and a minor in French. She has also interned in the offices of Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC) and Rep. John Spratt (D-SC).

Preston Rhea is a Program Associate for the Open Technology Initiative at the New America Foundation, having joined the Initiative as an intern.  He supports OTI's mission of digital justice for its Broadband Technology Opportunities Program work with research, analysis, writing and program assistance.  Preston also researches and writes on community-based communications and technology activism.
