The Asset Building Program of the New America Foundation submitted a response to the FDIC Request for Public Comment about the Proposed Template for Safe, Low-Cost Basic Savings Accounts.

We applaud and support the FDIC’s interest in and commitment to addressing the needs of smaller dollar savers, a population encompassing Americans of various income levels.
