Bipartisan Congressional Working Group on Education Funding
The Bipartisan Congressional Working Group on Education Funding consists of Senators and Representatives from both political parties committed to exploring constructive, non–partisan ways to improve education. The purpose of the working group is to generate fiscally responsible proposals that improve the adequacy, distribution, and effectiveness of federal education funding. Federal Education Budget Project staff act as “shadow experts” for members. Working group members are not expected to and do not endorse or support specific proposals or viewpoints expressed by the New America Foundation or the Federal Education Budget Project.
