William W. Gerrity

William W. Gerrity, Chairman and CEO of GMS Asia and Gerrity International, has over 25 years experience in development, acquisition, leasing and management of shopping centers.  Originally focused on properties in the western United States, he is now based in Hong Kong and has operations in China and India, delivering efficient, high-quality retail environments to the growing middle class in these two large emerging markets. 

Born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles, Mr. Gerrity was a professional actor as a child and a competitive athlete before turning to real estate. He is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.A. in History.
