Veronica Valdez
Veronica Valdez was a Program Associate with the Health Policy Program at the New America Foundation. She supported the Director and staff in coordinating and implementing program activities.
Before joining New America, Ms. Valdez was a field organizer on Barack Obama's presidential campaign in Michigan. Prior to this, she was a research analyst and assistant to the Head of Government and Public Sector Group at Citigroup, Australia & NZ. She researched financial products, government policies on climate change and microfinance, and assisted in bid proposals. Veronica graduated magna cum laude from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. She holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs focusing on International Development and China from the University of California, San Diego where she was a Dean's Fellow. She also studied Mandarin, Chinese at Peking University.
