Roger W. Ferguson Jr.
Roger W. Ferguson Jr. is former vice chairman of the Board of Governors of the U.S. Federal Reserve System, and currently serves as President and CEO of TIAA-CREFDr. Ferguson has been chairman of Swiss Re America Holding Corporation, a partner at McKinsey & Company and an attorney at the New York City office of Davis Polk & Wardwell. He is a member of Harvard University's Board of Overseers, a trustee of the Institute for Advanced Study, an honorary fellow of Cambridge University's Pembroke College, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Group of Thirty. A recipient of the Bond Market Association's Distinguished Service Award, Dr. Ferguson received his B.A. in economics (magna cum laude) in 1973, a J.D. (cum laude) in 1979, and a Ph.D. in economics in 1981, all from Harvard University.
