Paul McLaughlin

Paul McLaughlin was a Program Associate for the Fiscal Policy Program and Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget until the summer of 2008, when he left to pursue a law degree at New York University. Prior to joining New America, he worked as a research assistant to Professor Tim Guinnane, Ph.D., focusing primarily on population economics, and as an assistant to Dr. Ann Olivarius, Ph.D., conducting a longitudinal study of female Rhodes Scholars. He graduated from Yale University in 2006 with a degree in English and economics. While at Yale, he wrote articles and editorials for several campus publications and received the Glenn E. DeChambert prize for distinguished contribution to the university.
