As Assistant to the President of the New America Foundation, Jonathan Wallace is responsible for managing the President’s office and assisting in various facets of New America’s day-to-day operations. He organizes the monthly Fellows meetings, plans and manages the Annual Board and Fellows Retreat, assists the Director of Operations with development efforts, posts articles and maintains the article pages on the foundation’s Web site, and edits various New America publications. In addition, he provides research support for projects undertaken by the President.
Prior to joining New America, Mr. Wallace was a research intern at the Partnership for a Secure America and a legislative assistant for the Project on Middle East Democracy. He has been a writer for the POMED Wire and is a current contributor to “Across the Aisle,” a blog on U.S. foreign policy and national security. He holds a B.A. in political science from Duke University.
