As Assistant to the President of the New America Foundation, Jonathan Wallace was responsible for managing the President’s office and assisting in various facets of New America’s day-to-day operations until leaving in 2010 to attend graduate school. In addition, he provided research support for projects undertaken by the President.

Prior to joining New America, Mr. Wallace was a research intern at the Partnership for a Secure America and a legislative assistant for the Project on Middle East Democracy. He has been a writer for the POMED Wire and is a current contributor to “Across the Aisle,” a blog on U.S. foreign policy and national security. He holds a B.A. in political science from Duke University.
