Jeb Koogler

Jeb Koogler is a student of international politics at Brown University. He was previously a research assistant to former Senator Lincoln Chafee, for whom his work focused largely on the Arab-Israeli conflict. His recent areas of interest include Islamist political participation, democratization, and human rights policy.
Mr. Koogler has lived in the Middle East, primarily in Syria and Jordan, where he studied Arabic and regional politics. He also worked as a writer for the Watson Institute and interned with the Project on Middle East Democracy. Articles of his have been published by The Christian Science Monitor, The American Prospect, and Die Welt. His regular musings on politics and the state of the world can be found at the international affairs blog, Foreign Policy Watch, where he is the editor.
