Francis Fukuyama
Francis Fukuyama is the Bernard L. Schwartz Professor of Political Economy at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and a consultant to the RAND Corporation in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Fukuyama’s 1992 book, The End of History and the Last Man, appeared in over twenty foreign editions and made bestseller lists in the United States, France, and Japan. His next book, Trust: The Social Virtues and the Creation of Prosperity, was on Business Week’s list of top 10 business books for 1995. The Great Disruption: Human Nature and the Reconstitution of Social Order, was published in 1999, while his most recent one, State-Building: Governance and World Order in the 21st Century, was published in 2004.
