Daniel Mandel

As Program Associate for the Next Social Contract Initiative, Daniel Mandel worked with program leadership to conceive and plan events and publications, assist with high-level research, and coordinate partnerships between the initiative and various domestic policy programs at New America. He also prepared a daily briefing of economic commentary and engages in independent writing and research.

Mr. Mandel graduated cum laude from Harvard University with an A.B. in government, where he edited and wrote for the weekend magazine of The Harvard Crimson. He also studied at La Universidad de Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mr. Mandel has held internships at the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the ACLU of Illinois, and the U.S. House of Representatives.
