Benjamin Katcher

American Strategy Program
As Policy Analyst for the American Strategy Program, Benjamin Katcher contributes to the program's aim of informing the foreign policy discourse in Washington through research, writing, and innovative programming. Mr. Katcher also manages and contributes to the popular national security blog, The Washington Note. His primary area of interest is in the geopolitics of Turkey.
Before joining the American Strategy Program, Mr. Katcher worked as a Research Associate for New America's Fellows Program on a wide-range of public policy issues. Mr. Katcher is a summa cum laude graduate of Clark University, where he received highest honors in political science for his senior thesis, "Is the War on Terrorism Compatible with Humanitarian Intervention? Lessons From Darfur." He also studied international affairs and economic history at the London School of Economics.
