Anne Stuhldreher

Anne Stuhldreher is a Fellow in the Asset Building Program at the New America Foundation. She writes about social and economic issues for outlets such as the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, NPR, and academic journals. Previously, Anne was a Senior Policy Advisor to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver.

Ms. Stuhldreher has had a distinguished career in developing innovative policies and programs to build the financial security of disadvantaged individuals in the United States. She has spearheaded several public-private partnerships, including Bank on San Francisco, which is being replicated widely in cities and states across the country.
