On Wednesday, December 17th, the Bipartisan Asset Policy Forum hosted American Dream 2.0: Safe & Sound First-Time Homeownership Strategies for California Working Families, a dynamic lunchtime discussion on how public policy can encourage wealth-building in California to bring homeownership opportunities into reach for working families across our state.
This discussion featured a presentation by Lori Bamberger. Ms. Bamberger is the Principal of Lori Bamberger Consulting (LBC), which provides strategic assistance to leading organizations at the intersection of the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. Over the past year, Ms. Bamberger helped spearhead the Assets and Homeownership Initiative for APIC, the Asset Policy Initiative of California. APIC is a statewide network of stakeholders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors who are committed to increasing asset building opportunities for California’s working families.
This event was co-hosted by the New America Foundation, the Assets Policy Initiative of California, and the California Research Bureau.
