The Opportunity Society: A New Policy Agenda for Youth in Foster Care

In the United States, 20,000 youth "age out" of foster care each year without many of the same supports available to young people outside the children welfare system. How can American child welfare policy help build on the strength and skills of these young people? Four former foster youth discuss their views on ways to expand the policy horizon for children and youth in care and beyond.
