McCain Explains Social Security Fix

July 10 - In an interview with the Pittsburg Union-Tribune today,
John McCain explained his positions on Social Security and Medicare. While he argued that to fix either Social
Security or Medicare the U.S.
will need bipartisan solutions, he specifically claimed that in order to fix
Social Security:
"I think you have to do two things. One, do a better job
than has been done in the past of convincing people that it's broken...And so you
have to get that sense of urgency to the American people. And the second thing,
you've got to say, 'Look, everything is on the table, let's sit down at the table.'"
