Scottish billionaire Tom Hunter is calling for a vote on independence. There's a big debate in Scotland now about how to pursue independence -- and what exactly Scots want to be independent of. Great Britain? The monarchy? Europe?

Angry Austrians demand that people vote: No, not a California story. A huge rally is being planned for April 9 in Vienna by folks, or should I say volks, who want the country to be able to vote on the new Lisbon Treaty, a new constitution of sorts for the EU. So far, only the Irish are having such a vote.
