It sounds very similar that story. Sallie Mae definitely isn't out there to help people, that is for sure. Sallie Mae is a bunch of leeches. There should be some sort of way for someone who can't afford to pay their private loan to be able to get out of it. C'mon the government gives all kinds of bail-outs to these multi-million dollar companies...why not the ordinary "joe".
