You make a great point, Sara, about areas where more research would be helpful. Pre-kindergarten and other early childhood programs are fortunate to have impressive, credible evidence on their benefits, in both human and dollar terms -- in contrast to some other education reform initiatives. That solid research base has increased policymakers' appetite for data and studies that shrink the remaining gaps. "Meaningful Investments in Pre-K" fills in an important gap that we at Pre-K Now often hear about from policymakers and advocates, but we won't stop here!
