Employment Opportunity

The New America Foundation is continually seeking enthusiastic intern applicants to assist the Bernard Schwartz Fellows Program at the New America Foundation. The Fellows Program at New America Foundation is a hub of forward thinking academics, strategists, and journalists.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Substantive research to support the Fellows Program in a wide variety of areas from domestic to foreign policy.
  • Administrative support to the program associate as directed, including staffing events at New America.
  • Other tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an undergraduate foreign policy, public policy, or political science program;
  • Proven research and analytical skills;
  • Strong writing and editing abilities;
  • Working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a plus;
  • Familiarity with internet research tools;
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; and
  • Be a flexible and enthusiastic team player.

Spring: December 10

Summer: April 10

Fall: August 10
